{78/365} Today it's Thursday and another Daisy day is here! This year we are really concentrating on service projects. Today we had all of the girls work on something for "Project Linus". This is a non-profit organization that collects handmade blankets for children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need. We gave our girls four very soft pieces of fleece. We pre-cut fringe on the edges and each girl tied a knot on top of each piece of fringe (this is called a "no sew" blanket). At the end of our meeting, we had four adorable and comfy blankets ready to be sent out! The girls were so proud of themselves...and we were so proud of the girls!Sunday, March 22, 2009
