{74/365} Every year for St. Patrick's Day this Jewish girl makes corned beef, cabbage and soda bread for her Irish husband. It's the least I can do because it makes the guy so happy! I realized a few years ago that actually making the bread instead of buying it is definitely more tasty. :) Although I would love a family recipe, (apparently Frank's grandmother didn't write anything down) I keep trying different recipes and this year I found a good one. Frank thought it tasted just like his grandmothers! Here's my bread with it's "criss-cross" on top about to go into the oven. It was delicious!Monday, March 16, 2009
